Couples Therapist | Relationship Counsellor | Executive and Workplace Coach

"I’m a couples therapist and relationship counsellor with over 20 years of combined experience in both the counselling and corporate sectors. I skilfully apply effective couples therapy tools to workplace coaching, helping teams build strong professional relationships."

About Me

I’m a couples therapist, relationship counsellor, and workplace coach with over 20 years of experience in both the counselling and the corporate sector.

My journey has taken me from London to Germany, Croatia, and now Australia, with a diverse, global perspective shaped by working with clients from the USA and France. I’m fluent in English and Croatian, with a working knowledge of German and basic Spanish.

Relationships, in all their forms, are my passion. Having witnessed first-hand the profound impact relationships, whether with partners, family, or colleagues, have on our happiness and success, I am deeply committed to helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of life.

Whether it's supporting couples through tough times, helping blended families find their balance, guiding individuals to strengthen their connection with themselves and others, or fostering healthier dynamics between adult children and their parents, I bring empathy, understanding, and actionable solutions to each situation.

In my work with couples, I draw upon a variety of proven therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of each relationship. I am trained in the Gottman Method, which focuses on building a strong foundation of friendship and managing conflict, as well as Emotion Focused Therapy, a model that helps couples identify and address emotional patterns that block connection.

My work is highly tailored to your needs, and I may also take an eclectic approach as needed, integrating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to challenge negative thought patterns and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to promote psychological flexibility and mindfulness.

No matter the technique, my approach is insightful and direct, yet compassionate and fair. I aim to build a solid rapport with each client, and in collaboration, identify the root causes of issues and create long-term solutions.

My biggest contribution is insight, active listening, and a deep understanding of each client’s needs. When working with couples, I take an honest and unbiased approach, helping couples learn and improve on both an individual and a relational level.

I support individuals with life coaching and executive coaching, and am most excited to bring tools from couples therapy into the workplace. By helping teams communicate more effectively and embrace their differences, I create emotionally safe workplaces where employees feel both motivated and valued.

I’ve worked within many sectors in the corporate world, from Fortune 500 companies and luxury fashion brands to start-ups all over the globe. I am comfortable and experienced working with clients at all levels of their careers.

What is a Counsellor?

What is a couples/ relationship counsellor?

What is an Executive Coach?

A counsellor is a mental health expert who provides support and guidance to individuals who are facing emotional and psychological challenges or issues, helping them develop effective coping strategies and improve well-being.

In Australia, counsellors are registered with either the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) or the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). This means that they are a registered counsellor, signifying they have met specific professional standards and ethical guidelines.

A couples counsellor is a trained mental health professional who specialises in supporting couples to navigate challenges in their relationship, improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, and resolve conflicts in a healthy and constructive manner.

While often associated with romantic partnerships, relationship counsellors are not limited to working with couples. They also support individuals, families, and even workplace teams to improve interpersonal dynamics, build stronger connections, and foster healthier relationships in various personal and professional settings.

An executive coach is a professional who helps working professionals to enhance their leadership skills, ongoing performance, and career or personal development through specialised coaching and strategic guidance.
