Sentient Psychology & Counselling

Mental health support for diversity

Our team of experienced psychologists and counsellors support clients on diverse issues relating to gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, consumption and other belief/lifestyle-related areas.

OUR APPROACH

Psychology and Counselling for individuals, couples and families

Our team of clinical psychologists and counsellors are highly skilled and experienced in working with stress, anxiety, relationships, depression, grief & trauma/ PTSD.

We are different from other practices for two reasons:

Experience with and Support for Diversity:

We support clients on diverse issues relating to gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, language, consumption habits and other belief/lifestyle-related issues. Our experience as professionals as well as our own lived experience as individuals makes us uniquely placed to offer clients empathy, support, insight and care.

We are also a multi-lingual team of therapists who offer support in multiple languages.

Evidence-based yet Innovative Techniques:

While we use and are highly experienced in mainstream approaches - such as Schema therapy, Acceptance and commitment therapy, Dialectical behavior therapy and Cognitive behavioral therapy - we don’t use a cookie cutter approach. Instead, we tailor our therapeutic approaches to suit different personality types and client needs. Some of our approaches include Animal-assisted therapy, Art therapy and Somatic experiencing, among others.
