As a registered psychologist with experience working within both regional and city communities, I am passionate about providing support for a diverse range of presentations, including trauma, relationship difficulties and complex cases. My particular focus is on helping children & adolescents, young adults and women with the various challenges they may face. I approach therapy from a collaborative perspective, providing the space and security for clients to explore their identity and the full picture of their lives. Through this, I partner with each client to understand their personal life philosophy, so they feel seen and supported as they progress through their sessions. I believe it is crucial to present my authentic and real self to each client, so that we can build a solid basis of trust and safety within the therapeutic space.

My sessions are creative and tailored to identify and meet personal goals, because each client is unique and experiences the world and their environment in their own way. I work to empower clients to embrace their uniqueness, their strengths and their experiences to overcome challenges and thrive through long-term, sustainable growth.

A key interest of mine is adult and adolescent ADHD and ASD (autism spectrum disorder). ADHD and ASD can have a significant impact on daily life, including work or school performance, relationships, self-esteem and overall quality of life and can often result in unresolved trauma in adolescence and adulthood. This is especially true for girls and women who have had a missed diagnosis, which can also lead to compounding trauma.

Another key area of interest is psychology-informed career guidance and support, helping young adults to identify their preferred career and providing support through this journey. My approach is to combine psychological support with executive coaching to uncover individual goals, values and strengths and assist in career choice. At the same time, I also offer support in overcoming obstacles in making career decisions such as self doubt and other self-limiting beliefs, procrastination and uncertainty. I then help my clients develop goals for upskilling, transition and professional growth.

The therapeutic approaches that I draw upon include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), schema therapy and solution focused therapy (SFT). I am also trained in trauma-informed therapy and have completed further training and education on suicide and suicide prevention strategies.
