As a friendly and relatable therapist, I create a safe and empathetic space where clients feel heard, safe and valued. My sessions are characterized by a sincere connection with you as I genuinely invest in understanding and responding to your unique stories and challenges.
I have a special interest in providing counselling for trauma, grief and loss, and significant life changes, offering a nurturing space for freedom of expression and trust. Working in collaborative partnership, we find a way to move gently through pain, loss, and changes to re-establish meaning and embrace life again. I incorporate trauma-informed techniques, including the Flash Technique, to assist in reducing traumatic disturbance in daily life.
I also work with couples, focusing on resolving conflicts related to parenting, traumatic experiences, loss, life changes and managing work-life balance. I am committed to providing a supportive and positive space for couples to openly communicate, meet each other with empathy, respect and love and ultimately reach reconnection and resolution.
Additionally, with over a decade of corporate experience, I understand the complexities and demands of the workplace environment. Drawing on lived experience, I offer counselling for work stress and burnout, specifically for women in the workplace, offering insights and strategies tailored to the unique challenges faced in corporate settings.
Grounded in a Narrative Therapy framework, my approach is integrative and tailored to your individual needs. Person-centred and evidence based techniques from ACT, CBT, Schema Therapy, DBT, and Trauma-Informed approaches are drawn upon in-session in a way that meets your personal needs and goals.
My aim is to guide clients in recognising unhelpful patterns, uncovering their strengths, developing effective coping strategies, improving communication, and building resilience. I strive to empower my clients to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and to live in alignment with their core values.
