Lia Lawton

Psychologist &
Psychosexual Therapist

I (she/her) am an AHPRA registered psychologist in the Hobart area and have just completed my Master of Science in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health) with a specialisation in Psychosexual Therapy at the University of Sydney. I have also previously completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and a Graduate Diploma of Sexology.

Passionate about supporting individuals and couples in navigating the complexities of the mind, relationships, and sexuality, I strive to help clients become their most authentic selves, fostering self-connection and healing from trauma. My therapeutic approach is warm, empathetic, and person-centred, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and desires.

I value individual differences, particularly around neurodivergence, and believe in a collaborative and person-centred approach to therapy. I tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, empowering them to explore strengths, develop coping strategies, and foster positive change in their lives.
