Lia (she/her) is an AHPRA registered psychologist in the Hobart area and has just completed her Master of Science in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health) with a specialisation in Psychosexual Therapy at the University of Sydney. Lia has also completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and a Graduate Diploma of Sexology.
Passionate about supporting individuals and couples in navigating the complexities of the mind, relationships, and sexuality, Lia strives to help clients become their most authentic selves, fostering self-connection and healing from trauma. Lia's therapeutic approach is warm, empathetic, and person-centred, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and desires.
Lia values individual differences, particularly around neurodivergence, and believes in a collaborative and person-centred approach to therapy. She tailors interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, empowering them to explore strengths, develop coping strategies, and foster positive change in their lives.

Lia's particular interests include sexual function/dysfunction, relationship issues, LGBTQIA+, attention-deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), other neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, mood disturbances/disorders, anger management, social anxiety, pain management, stress, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
