Xufeng Su

Psychologist & Executive Coach

I am a provisional psychologist who is committed to delivering genuine person-centered and strength-based therapy and providing a space that is safe, welcoming and free from judgement or stigma. As a therapist, I aim to assist and support clients in exploring their unique values and identities.

Through my own lived experience, I have a deep understanding of the imbalance and distress we can feel when experiencing oppression or being unable to live our authentic lives. When supporting my clients – instead of assuming the expert position – I partner with them, exploring their potential and understanding who they want to be. During the therapy journey, my goal is to create a secure place where my clients can be heard.

I specialise in working with adults who come from a cultural minority background (immigrants, sexual minorities, religious minorities). I have master’s degrees and working experiences in both psychology and business management, and I love supporting working adults to manage their work stress and reach professional wellbeing.

My key areas of support include discovering self-identity, self-worth, and communication or emotional expression issues. In other ways, I strive to help my clients to be themselves because “unable to be ourselves” leads to a large amount of mental health struggles in the workplace and daily lives.

In addition to English, I also speak Mandarin and Cantonese. As a cultural minority myself, I have empathy for the challenges to work/live in an environment where you feel hard to express yourself freely. (我会说普通话和广东话,作为一个移民,我能体会当我们感觉自己不能在职场或者生活中自由表达自己的时候我们会感到痛苦).
