I am a clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience in clinical supervisory roles held at both hospitals and private practice. In this time I have specialised in sleep issues, sleep disorders, psychotic spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder and other clinical presentations. I am passionate about providing caring and compassionate psychological support, tailored to my individual clients.
Having extensive research and clinical experience in supporting people with sleep difficulties, I am passionate about working with clients to identify the root cause of individual sleep issues. I then work in collaboration with clients to explore how the sleep issues are affecting and impact their lives, including relationships, careers, health and wellbeing.
Another key specialisation of mine is adjustment difficulties to life transitions. This refers to challenges individuals may experience when faced with a significant change or transition in their life. These changes can include moving to a new location, starting a new job, a new relationship, or experiencing a major life event such as a divorce or the death of a loved one.
Another key presentation I work with is psychotic spectrum disorders - an umbrella term for neuropsychological conditions that causes a person to lose touch with or confuse reality. It can be characterised by a range of symptoms, including hallucinations, delusions, disordered thinking, and abnormal behaviours.
Some other areas I work with include:
Anxiety and sleep disorders
I work with a variety of evidence-based approaches like - Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, CBT, and DBT. I have partnered with a diverse range of clients & presentations in both Hong Kong and Australia and I offer therapy in 3 languages - English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
